Accounts Payable Specialist

We are now looking for a results-driven Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Head Office in Tramore Road, Cork City.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments
- Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are accurately recorded
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and address vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation of periodic payment runs
- Monitor and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining positive supplier relationships
- Assist in the implementation and utilisation of accounts payable software and systems
- Streamline accounts payable workflows by implementing automation and efficiency improvements
- Manage and verify weekly staff hours in the internal portal, working with departments to ensure accuracy
- Perform other related duties and ad-hoc tasks as required to support the finance team
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with automated accounts payable solutions is desirable. (Intact IQ &/or EI Trax a distinct advantage)
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, positive and flexible attitude
- Continuous improvement mindset

IITC has one of the largest and most extensive bathroom showrooms in Ireland and, after our recent renovation, we are looking for a Showroom Sales Associate to join our Plumbing & Bathrooms team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service of the utmost quality to new and existing customers, managing and proactively developing long-term customer relationships. Your job will be to work closely with customers to ensure they get the maximum value out of the services and products they have purchased from us.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engaging with our customers throughout their relationship with us to drive excellent customer experience and satisfaction
- Position yourself as the expert on our products and through providing continuous support
- Work closely with customers to resolve any issues they may have in an efficient and timely manner
- General customer service
- Generate sales
- Following up on sales
- Upkeep, maintenance and tiding of showroom
- Stock Control
Requirements:
- Relationship building – the ability and willingness to build and develop productive relationships with our customers
- Demonstrable experience of working in a customer service focussed role
- Excellent communication skills
- Organisation skills
- Ability to Multitask and prioritise accordingly
- Knowledge of tiles and bathrooms desirable but not essential
