Salt Licks

Salt is needed for different body functions like producing saliva which helps to digest roughage and stabilise the rumen pH, the acidity levels in the first stomach. With the right care cows have a higher milk yield and salt licks also improve the fertility and immunity of the herd. Other essential minerals and vitamins are included in the salt licks, these are an important addition for the herd when grazing in pastures or during winter housing.
